Crafted Together
Can you knit / crochet?
The Forest of Dean Dementia Action Alliance knows there is a great community out there who love to knit / crochet, so we are reaching out for your help.
You may be part of a group or happily knit / crotchet at home, we’d like to tap into your resources!
We invite you to knit / crochet book markers and forget me not flowers that we can sell to raise much needed funds to support community activities in the Forest of Dean and to hand out as mementoes at our community events.
The flowers can be the traditional yellow and blue or you could use our logo colours - Purple and Yellow.

Once you have finished, our member Gloucestershire Libraries have kindly offered the following libraries to accept your kind donations. Please drop them off into one of the donation boxes.
If you have spare wool to share, we can arrange collection and distribution too.
If you have a pattern for other items that you’d like to share we can build a catalogue of patterns on our website. Just send them to: admin@foddaa.co.uk
Starting a conversation around dementia enables people to feel less isolated. We provide awareness sessions and are happy to visit groups, just let us know. You will find useful resources within our website too.
